After graduating from Adana Science High School in 2003, Kadri Ozer received his medical degree from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and became a medical doctor in 2009. In the same year, he started his residency program of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in Ankara Training and Research Hospital and successfully finished in 5.5 years.
During the medical school education and residency, he tried to increase his notion, knowledge and experience. He tried to gain different perspectives at Uppsala University Academic Hospital Radiology Department in Sweden, Karolinska University Söder Hospital Department of Hand Surgery in Sweden, Zurich University Hospital Microsurgery Laboratory, Osaka University Hospital Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic in Japan, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Division of Microsurgery Clinic in Taiwan.
In 2013, he won the first prize for the best project with the project titled "Skin Stapler by Punch Grafting that Provides Restoration of Tissue Defects" which he designed and made his own drawings in the 7th National Medical Device Project Competition organized by SEIS.
In 2013, he won the first prize for the best project with the project titled "Gloves Preventing Burn Contractures and Scars" which he designed by himself in the 7th Surgical Research Congress, 3rd Invention Contest organized by Turkish Surgical Society.
In 2014, "Young Researcher Project Support Award" was awarded to him for the project entitled "The Investigation of the Effectiveness of Fetomaternal Microchimeric Cells in Wound Healing within the coexistence of Hyaluronic Acid and Amniotic Fluid" within the scope of the 6th Drs. Aysun - Ahmet Küçükel Medical Awards.
The patent application started in 2014 was protected by the Turkish Patent Institute with the title of "A pair
of medical gloves" and with the number of 34617.01, 2014/09908.
In National Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery
Congresses, he competed in the finals in 2014 with his work titled "A Short and Safe Method in the Repair of Tissue Defects: Repair with Punch Grafts" and in 2015 with his
work titled "Determination of Optimum Values in Preparation of Platelet Rich Plasma".
In 2015, in the 8th Surgical Research Congress, 4th Invention Contest organized by Turkish Surgical Society he was awarded with two degrees in the first five
degrees which were secondary place with the project titled "A Therapeutic Apparatus for Ingrowing Toenails" and fifth
place with the project titled "Pneumatic Pressure Pads".
In 2016, he become a board-certified plastic surgeon by EBOPRAS (European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery).
In 2016, he was awarded as one of three winners of the ESPRAS (European Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery) Fellowship Program in which covering all of Europe.
